Some clients might feel overwhelmed by the process of starting therapy. Clients are often looking for a safe space to process their thoughts and feelings about life’s challenges.  

Amanda aims to provide a holistic and individualistic approach to the counselling process, with a focus on building a therapeutic relationship that will allow for successful and collaborative therapy sessions. Amanda’s experience, education and eclectic approach, provides the guidance, understanding and support her clients seek to improve their lives.  

Amanda’s goal is to make every client feel welcomed, comfortable, and safe during the therapeutic process.  

Amanda is in the process of completing her master’s degree from Yorkville University in Counselling Psychology and received her Bachelors degree in Arts & Contemporary Studies from Ryerson University. Amanda has worked in classroom settings providing support for a wide range of students and their varying needs.   

Client Focus: Individuals, Children 8 years+, and Families 

Types of therapy: CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness 

Issues: Anxiety, Depression, relationship related problems, self-esteem
